I think they also tried rebuilding in the early part of the 20th century. I mean it did work after all, they won 80-something years later. Slow but steady.

The rumors out here in Seattle are Jeremy Reed for either Arroyo or Clement. The Red Sox would like to dump Clements contract of course, but the M's (who play in CASHCOW Field) are among the best at crying poverty.

Reed came from the White Sox in the Freddy Garcia deal, and is supposed to blossom into a left handed Lou Ford with the bat.
