Nice team, bad Pete! The only starter wth a losing record, and an ERA over 4.00 yuk.

Your team's record is clearly suffering horribly as a result. :)

Looks like an OT team to me. Sprinkle in a Geronimo and VOILA. Love those IP for the relievers. Truly awful numbers for Pete.

And here I was going to post a new topic about the worst game I've ever seen for Pete (he's on my team, of course). This seems an appropriate place to toss this out.

*** BOTTOM OF INNING 1 ***
0 T.Cobb 1 Single b-1
0 1 J.Gilliam 5 Single 1-3 b-1
0 1 3 1 Stolen Base 1-2
0 23 E.Combs 6 Walk b-1
0 123 J.Dimaggio 6 Single 3-H 2-H 1-3 b-2
0 23 K.Hernandez 4 Walk b-1
0 123 P.Rose 4 Walk 3-H 2-3 1-2 b-1
0 123 W.Boggs 1 Force Play 3-H 2-3 1-o b-1
1 1 3 M.Sanguillen 5 Single 3-H 1-2 b-1
SUBSTITUTE P - Ossie Orwoll
1 12 F.Crosetti 2 Ground Out Double Play 1-o b-0

I don't think I've evr seen Pete go only 1/3 of an inning before.

I've had Koufax twice and both times he's put up similar numbers that Pete has put up for you. :?

Take a Seat Pete

Pete Alexander lost his 20th game last night and will be yanked from his next start in favor of Mike Caldwell.

The last time this was done (quite by mistake) Mr. Caldwell pitched a complete game shutout. :D
