Brian Roberts with his 1 at 2B, along with .314/.387/.515, (.400 v. RHP) a * and N power both ways, plus 600 PA, will not be cheap. Am I crazy to say 9 mil+?

How about Felipe Lopez at SS (.291/.390/.486). Not sure about his defense though.

Felipe's D at SS will be 4e20 or so. DH material.

I'll be looking for Jonny Gomes and Jeff Francour. They should have pretty good cards.

Somebody already touched on it... nobody is going to top A-Rod's card. 321 avg, 421 obp
48 hr and 130 RBI's
26 stolen bases
1 at Third and 2 at SS!!!!
Probably will be a 1-2 R

And on top of all that... 162 GAMES PLAYED... HE CAN'T GET INJURED!!!

My guess is he's easily 14-15 million. My only concern is to see a 05 Adrian Beltre type card that suffers terribly in Pitchers parks... only time will tell. Only 29 doubles, that might hurt.

Frank Thomas

Postby The Turtle » Thu Dec 22, 2005 4:16 am

Thomas hit 12 bombs is 105 Abs but little else his would be an interesting card but we may not get it also for Coors lovers, these are the sure to be in the deck

Tony Clark (he might be over 10 million with 30 bombs in a little over 300 ABs and .366 OB, I am going to guess 8.5-9 million though)

Ryan Howard - 22 bombs in 320-something Abs (i'll guess 7.5-8 million)

ARod

I also suspect Arod, Pujols and Lee will be similar in price all in the 13 million range...

Also worht noting i think is that a lot of the top hitter will hit RH pitching better next year. Casein point Arod and Pujols both hit righties better last year and look to be 1Rs or 2Rs (vs 4L and 3L this year) , Lee will be a 1L

Nady, definitely a man to watch.

And Johnny Damon is likely to be over-priced like Beltran was last year.
