Well, well OT. We meet again. I haven't spent any time on your team, until now. With Nev and Frank in my division, I kind of had my hands full fending them off.
Congrats on a fine team. In particular Wera/Nettles worked out very well. Anytime you can get that kind of production for under 2M, you're in good shape. Not to mention your two aces finishing first and second in the Cy Young and Mantle winning the MVP.
Looks like during the regular season we were 6-6 head to head. I did manage to go 2-1 vs Brown and I think 1-1 vs Adams. I think that Speer was my nemesis. I'd have to say you are the favorite in the finals with your big two pitchers and the fact that Merritt and Bennett, somewhat useful in my division, are useless except as spot relievers against your team.
My best chance is to hope for your injury prone players to get hurt.
Grindi. Except for my Dunn and Yankee 56 teams which are formulaic, most of my squads aren't. Yet there are definitely patterns to the guys I use. They may not rhyme but there is always a reason. :) Same with Nev. His patterns are crystal clear to me, as I suspect mine are to him. But I do think that, after Frank Bailey, who really is hard to emulate since he uses such a wide variety of players, you would have to play in a lot of leagues with me to be able to replicate my teams.
