"Rules of 35" Scrubs League--FULL!

Postby MEAT » Sat Oct 13, 2007 2:56 pm

dont know whether this would help or hurt recruiting, but we need some more blood. what do you think of twisting the #35 into a lottery, and have a two round live draft. state lotto for first pick, you can either take a player, or choose your real #35 from the list. we'd have to add one more to make it 12 #35's. we could also make it that the lotto results you have to choose your #35 first, then go in reverse order to take your one and only live draft player. just a thought.

also sponedal, just looked to see I haven't even played a 60m salary limit with these cards...anyone else? can't give you a link to a team any worse than an all injury league, but that was 80m, and had several players worth 3-times more than the highest paid player in this league will be.

He's Meat:
Unfortunately, I don't have the consistent time available to do any live drafts. This is why I offered the current format as an option. I think some other guys were working on a normal 2M and under scrubs draft a while back...maybe you can spark that back up--besides, there are no more real-life #35's under 3.5M...:)

Clarification: Is the intent of the rule to just put a #35 on the draft card? Is that all?
Or, do we actually have to have one of the 11? (not 12?) on our team. What is the intent here? Thanks

Yeah, just put one on your draft card...it was just a rule to add a twist with the other "35" rules.
