1. FA draft - Only players that have never played for ANY of our 12 teams. (Todd Helton if Col is not taken, A Dunn if Cin is not taken)

2. AD - ONLY players that have played for your team.

After both, you may add/drop your FA players if you want, but any you pick up must meet the FA criteria.

Roger Clemens can NEVER be on a team other than Bos, Hou, NYY, Tor.

RG... that is correct. Clemens could be traded amonsgt those teams ONLY. Boston could not trade Clemens to Pittsburgh for example.

I think this free agent live draft is going to be a mess. I'm seeing about half of the picks generate a response like "hey, that guy once played on my franchise team so you can't draft him." Yikes.

Novie or anyone else, is it possible to make a master list of free agents available? Probably not, so I think we're in for a mess.

I agree, but if we all just use [url]http://www.baseball-reference.com/[/url] and check the player before we post him, we shouldn't ahve too much trouble. I have already been looking, and almost all the cheap pitchers I like are not available to me :cry:

of course I shouldn't b*tch too much, seeing as a top 2 of RJ and Oswalt, with Lidge (maybe Wagner if I can snag him) in the pen shouldn't be complaining :wink:
