What is the deal with Miquel Cabrera?

For a high obp guy he seems to not get on base often. Has anyone had any luck with him- if so, what type of park?

Thank you for the reply- those numbers would certainly work for me. It's very early in my season @ Dodger Stadium with him posting a less than stellar line of (.221 .269 .395). The only other league I'm playing in he was a late pick up for another team playing @ Chase Field currently posting .188 .246 .375(fairly small sample size). He wasn't drafted in either of the first 2 league's I've played in(and currently playing in). I'm open for suggestions of value players that fit Dodger Stadium. Thanks again!

For its worth I'm using Cabrara for the 1st time at AT&T. Thur 51 games he's hitting .306 w/ an OBP of .382. He's hit 6 HRs and driven in 26. He's also stolen 3 bases. So far so good...

Cabrera is a hitting MACHINE! He will perform well in any park all of the time. Sometimes you just need to be a bit patient...

I could certainly use some patience(i hear it's a virtue)- but it appears to be a hyperbole at it's finest to state of Cabrera "he will perform well in any park all of the time".

Don't really see how it is a hyperbole (exaggeration) to say that Cabrera will hit well in any park all the time? He is a great hitter, so no matter where you are playing (hitters, pitchers, neutral) he will perform well.

I think it's more like an oxymoron (sp?)...."any park all of the time"...note the "all of the time" part, then the next sentence says "sometimes you need to be patient"...why? what happened to the "all of the time" part?? LOL

OK, over the course of a season, he will perform well in any park all of the time as long as you are patient!
