[quote:cbdc0c14a3]Bud Black was injured facing Richie Zisk. The result of the AB was a lineout vs Zisk, a RH hitter. Below are Black's possible 6-12 results vs a RH batter:[/quote:cbdc0c14a3]
Hey :!: :?: Aren't I the owner of Bud Black in this scenario that you're describing? You doing some research?
[quote:cbdc0c14a3]Based on that there is no possible year for a lineout. However I suspect that the 85 year is more than just SI. It is probably
SI 1-10
lineout 11-20
or something like that. The complete description of that roll must not be visable on the TSN SOM card.
What do you think?[/quote:cbdc0c14a3]
Actually the whole thing kind of struck me as odd also. I reallly didn't have an answer for it myself when I saw it. However, I think that you're pretty spot on in your analysis. RFX rolls can't result in a lineout. So the only logical thing left is the single roll.
But if I was a betting man, I'd bet that 6-12 vs. right in that situation is actually a ballpark single that was neglected in the online version. <
What do you think?
Oh and also, Merry Christmas!
