Is there any interest in an 80s auction league?

Just wondering Penn, did you get my pm, and has an account and pass been set up for me? I am sure I will need it eventually.

Sean, I've only done one and in that one I thought that your opened 4-6 players per manager, but the 1st day with everyone opening 6 there will be 72 players open after that there will be more because a player isn't won until no one bids on him for 24 hours. So day two can have 144 open players etc.

There's no order, you just go online and open guys. If someone has opened a player already you'll know and there's no chance two people can open the same player.

One thing I don't think Penn mentioned is that each day you will not be able to bid on any player until you've opened all 6 of your players.

Penn can correct any misstatements. Hopefully I've got this right.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Yes, you must open your 6 new players before you bid on anyone else each day. You can bid on as many players as you want after that until you run out of auction $$. 72 players opened today another 72 opened tomorrow and so on.....it will take a couple of days for players to start to close but with 144+ players opened it wont take long.

Cheif, normally your userid is created by the person creating the live draft. There isnt anything you can do on the site without being in a live draft.

Let the crazy boxing day bidding begin :D :D

THEBEST auction is now open, I will check in later to see who has problems.

Dont worry, players dont expire for 24 hours so we will work out all problems today. I hope everyone checks in.

Alternates should check in early tomorrow morning to see if someone hasnt shown up.

Penn,

where is THEBEST auction? Is it on your site? I went to your site, and the "80SROCK" league is the only one that comes on.

Tell me how to find the site, and I'll get crankin'.

Thanks Penn. Happy Boxing Day !

Thanks for filling relatively quickly, now enjoy the auction

Thanks, everyone for filling pretty quickly, I was sure there were a few others with the auction itch out there, or who wanted to try this format for the first time. The list of owners is impressive, nearly eveyone in the 80s Top 100, with most inside the Top 50 (but no top 50 for me... :x )

For the voyeurs  out there, I will post daily what players have been bought and for what price, remember we are using a $180 mil budget to put together a legitimate TSN Strat Team.
