Is there any interest in an 80s auction league?

[i:d7954efa9f]What time does the next day of bidding start? 12 ET? PT? [/i:d7954efa9f]

bidding is open 24/7 but you can not open new players until I think 6 AM EST. I will have to double check that though.

Sean, np and thanks!! :D

I want to make sure all the confusing stuff is explained. There is actually lots of rules about this (more then I always remember). I dont want anyone to feel confused and ripped off by the experience.

I see we have some 20+ bids already. I love it :D :D

Looks like we've got our 1st winner! Scott McGregor to Yountfan! Clearly an embarrasing signing for Mr. McGregor as it appears no one else bid on him.

Had I understood the bidding I could of had him for .5m. And when he wins 15 games for me it will be worth it.

actually, 1 mil for him to start he is over 3 mil, .3 mil for players under 3 mil.

Bigmahon has not shown up yet so do we replace him with Chief now? Actually when Chief gets home?

I PMd Big early today myself, since we both live in the UK. No reply. Big is one of the genuinely good guys in Strat, I don't think he would purposely miss out. Perhaps he thought there would be a roll call, which really wasn't needed as we filled inside of a week. I say give Big another six hours as it will be midnight here by then, then Chief is in. We'll try to get Big in the next auction with a couple of others who missed out.

BTW, I was able to get Hershiser for $12.0 last time, what's up with all the Orel fans???? :x

McGregor went unclaimed. Here's hoping YF doesn't get the last laugh.

I know Bigmahon is always commited to the leagues. This league filled fast and I doubt he knows we started. I just dont want bids to expire without him having a chance to bid on those players.

Probably first come first served for whoever takes the spot. I like both guys.

But to be fair to either one of them, before the draft gets to the point where some big name guys start expiring, we'll need to get either one in ASAP so it is fair for them.

Chief, good luck Bud if its you.

Bigmahon, hope you can make it before it's too late.

P.S. Next player to expire is 3:15 PM EST. (Dave Stewart at this point.)
