I have had enough.

Previously I have posted scathing comments about the ridiculousness of the game to much disagreement from loyal people who have defended this waste of time. This game is not only different from the board game but it really isnt a simulation of the game of baseball that I know. There is too much speculation as to what unrealistic occurence is going to happen next. This was how I felt even before the crash of the game which left me no doubt as to the viability of this game. A team that is 95-49 doesnt lose its last EIGHTEEN straight games to lose the division by a game. It is just not possible. My opinion is that there is a governor that regulates teams wins and players stats. Governors that regulate what happens in the game. Governors that create 18 game losing streaks as a way to create competition that creates an interest for managers to reup and buy more teams. Governors that always keep players stats in the range of real life. My personal belief, and I may be wrong, is that this game controls events. I personally dont feel that we are in control of these teams at all and the reason that the best teams are almost always the most tenured managers is that they are more knowledgable about the glitches and know how to use that to their advantage. Who knows, it really doesnt matter what my opinion is. It is what it is. The real reason that I am writing this is that I have a credit left and I dont want it. The 1st manager who can tell me how to transfer this credit can have it. I wont be checking back on this so please send a message to my personal page if you know how to transfer a credit. Thanks.

Didn't the Mets have a monumental collapse the last week of this season? Years ago didn't the Red Sox lose a huge lead the last weeks of the season to the Yankees? I am sure there are other examples that I am missing? What I am saying is that the game in this sense is realistic. Hope you reconsider...

WGullett is right. Blowing a lead of significant magnitude is completely implausible and something devious must be in the works.

Just as impossible as a team winning 20 out of 21 games.

I absolutely do not believe that series are rigged or governed. I have seen the folks in charge act with too much integrity ti believe that. There is a magic aspect to baseball, that means sometimes almost believable things happen, like the Red Sox ALCS comeback. Losing 18 in a row that is a feat of mythic proportions! Your players should go down in strat history. That is what keeps us interested in the game. And I am glad that online Strat keeps that magic, even when in means that I lose the finals after being up 3-0, or lose the final game of the playoffs despite the fact that I have Jennings going against some under 1.00 starter with a WHIP over 1.60, or my 102 game winner gets swept in the semis (these actually happened to me).
I felt a little more critical of the game my first year, and now that I understand it, I even more see that this a great game with all of it's imperfections.

Would he be complaining if his team WON 18 in a row to make the playoffs? I DON"T THINK SO.
