Roosky,
We would like to join, if you will have us. 2-Headed Beast is a partnership between Eldaveer and Crabby Appleton. We created this ID to play in Bobby's Manager of the Year tournament which is currently in its 9th season (Steve Ames is part of it). With work and travel schedules, this arrangement helps assure that one of us will always be available. As Crabby Appleton I have 28 ATG II seasons under my belt over the last year. Eldaveer is currently involved in numerous netplay leagues. You will have no problem with our fulfillment of a 12-league obligation.

[quote:e0cfbbedc8]I am open suggestions on how to shuffle things so someone does not get stuck with a bunch of bad teams in a row[/quote:e0cfbbedc8]

One idea would be to add an odd integer that does not divide evenly into 12 to each team number. The number 5 would spread everybody around nicely. For instance, Team 1 in the first round would be Team 6 in Round 2, Team 11 in Round 3, Team 4 in Round 4 etc ( 1, 6, 11, 4, 9, 2, 7, 12, 5, 10, 3 and 8 ).

The problem with this formula would be that you should not use the 1, 5, 9 method of assigning divisions as you would face the same division opponents each season. Instead, you should probably randomly assign divisions.

buster j ratt jump on in, the 2 headed beast is welcome as well. I like the idea of using an odd integer, and I am liking the idea of doing the divisions as 1-12. I also decided that when you draft you can draft 23 players using an 80 mil salary then draft a couple cheap guys that were left over so you can drop them and pick up who you drafted. I hope that makes sense. :)

I like the idea of starting at least one round per month. Will the league provide a hole for me to crawl into if my No. 1-drafted team lays an egg?

I like the idea to set up the divisons with teams
1,2,3,4 in the east
5,6,7,8 in the central
9,10,11,12 in the west
This would allow the teams with the last teams picked to still be able to make the playoffs.
The wildcard team would probably always come from the east so the better teams still have a great shot at making playoffs also.

Once a month works well for me, also. Kind of reminds me of the Dream Team League I am in. :)
