Is there any interest in an 80s auction league?

How is everyone enjoying the auction? I was in the first ever auction ever tried (started by AT), that was done without the aid of Penn's site. That was a bit of a dog's breakfast but was still fun. Penn's site makes it so easy.

The next decade league will have to be an auction.

Auctions are great. This one came at a great time since I'm on vacation. I don't have to rush to open players before work so I can make a quick bid to keep players that I want alive while I'm at work.

BC -
Since you are wondering, Dave Stewart went for $4.5 last auction I was in. So, good job, you got yourself a bargain!

Big, Good to see you made it in.

Chief, We'll get you the next time, since by my count we have only four repeat auction drafters this go round, and I think it will probably prove to be a very exciting format and a fave of a lot of people.

That's right, I'm watching you Toisan as you are a veteran of auctions for the 80s and haven't said much at all. Your actions speak volumes...how am I supposed to win HoJo if you keep bidding him up?

Yes, but I've been in about 50 80s leagues, and Stewart has gone undrafted in 98% of them. :P

Yeah Stewart was priced completely wrong because he doesnt have one domanent year and all 5 are similar and should be priced at 4 mil.

You are correct Penn. Now we will see if anybody else wants to spend 10m on the Kingdome too.

I have done enough auctions that I am not worried at all about spending 10m on a park.

true, true but I will wait to see what stadium is left. There are too many similar stadiums to waste any money on.
