NOV 6 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

John Lackey went the distance allowing only 1 hit as the East Granby Oh7's Oh8's outscored the New Mexico Scorpions in 11 innings 3 to 0. Aaron Rowand hit a one out single in the 5th inning for the only hit.

Lackey (5-2) walked two, struck out 9 and threw 137 pitches. "Kevin Kelsey, our manager, usually keeps me under 120 pitches," said Lackey, "so I'm a little surprised he let me out there in the 11th. Every pitcher wants to go complete. I guess today we saw a glimpse of how they did it in the old days."
