When approached by a reporter about rumors that he was scuffing baseballs on the mound, Scott replied, "No comment," and then proceeded to sandpaper the man's ear off. [b:19ca353af3]Boxscore[/b:19ca353af3]

Houston wasn't the only place where great pitching was on display, as team aces all over the league came out and strutted their stuff Sunday night, including impeccable performances by Dennis Rasmussen, Charlie Hough, Joaquin Andujar, Dwight Gooden, Danny Cox, and Scott Sanderson. Basically it would have been faster to just list the pitchers that didn't dominate.
