I'm in the central! One down, 3 to go. Nice job on the draft, guys. I thought everything went pretty smooth with all the new guys doing a great job! What's everybody think? I think I have a pretty balanced team. I like my batting order. Really happy to get Rico in the 5th slot! I try to get Cleon Jones, Johnny Bench and Ken Tatum in every league. New guys I've never used include Rusty Staub and all my starting pitchers. I always go with a four man rotation, but I've wanted to try Jim Palmer. After Denny McLain went off the board, I decided to go 5 man. I like Palmer and Taylor and we will see how the rest of the staff holds up. Like I said earlier, the 100 mil cap allows a lot of pitchers to be used that you don't often see. It should be fun!

I'm sad I missed out on Cleon. I had him pegged for third round, John, but you beat me to him in the second, after I chose Bob Gibson. Guess I shoulda held off on putting my staff together.

In general, I like my team. I've never used a big-ticket reliever, so Perranoski should be fun. I chose a lot of my favorites-- Frank Robinson, Shamsky, Epstein, Mike Andrews, Dick Bosman, Jim Maloney-- but I have some new guys too in McMullen, Freehan, and Colbert. Looking forward to getting started.
