NOV 9 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Kelvim Escobar blanked New Mexico allowing just 1 hit as the Work Aholics defeated the New Mexico Scorpions by a score of 9 to 0 at AT&T Park. Escobar (2-3) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the New Mexico batters. He walked 3 and struckout 11 New Mexico batters lowering his ERA from 5.93 to 4.58. Work manager Johnny Law said, "We really needed this outing from Kelvim. We're trying to dig our way out of the cellar, and this was a good move in that direction."

Stat of the Day

Postby Jack377 » Sat Nov 10, 2007 6:12 pm

The Bombers have 21 wins and 21 saves!

On a less impressive front, my top two starters, Clemens and Sabathia are 1-10 between them...yet we're still .500! Can't figure out if this is discouraging or encouraging... :?

Jeremy Bonderman whitewashed ELK CREEK on 2 hits as the Dunder Mifflins beat the ELK CREEK B29S by a score of 1 to 0. Bonderman(5-4) was on top of his game. He didn't give up much, just 2 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 4.56 to 4.05. Mifflins manager, Dwight Schrute, said. "Bonderman was the man tonight!
