A few that come to mind (mostly as a DH option)...Grieve, Youkilis, Bernie, E Young, Sierra, T Clark, Ma Sweeney, G Anderson.

My favorite player for less than $1 is Jose Macias.

I used Jesse Garcia once and although he's W hitting both ways, he hit 7 HR's for me, and had 27 RBI's in 237 AB's.

+ clutch on 7 is ALWAYS nice too...

I tend to also grab Dave Berg as a sub. Always seems to hit for me.

maybe rafael santana back in the 80,s was $$$$
but for me i have had johan twice and he has sucked both times.......

him and jason schmidt are terrible especially schmidt..yet i look at his both of their cards and wonder HOW!!!!

For under $3mil at catcher, I like Castillo. High OBP and good D. Walks Lefties to death. I also have good luck with Kielty as a platoon against lefties.

John Mabry has been absolutey great for me on every team I have had. Killer power numbers and AVG. Well worth the money. Nathen by far for closer and Grienke as a starter have also been great buys.
