NOV 20 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHTLIGHTLY"

Sal Bando jacked one out of the ballyard in the top of the 14th inning at Forbes Field as the Bakersfield BigRedMachine05 beat the Munich Schlagmeisters by the score of 9 to 8. It looked like the BigRedMachine05 had the game won in the 11th inning with a 3 run outburst. But Bobby Tolan hit a 2 out 3 run HR to knot the score in the bottom half of the inning. The 20,061 fans in attendance saw an action packed game that included 35 hits and 5 errors. BigRedMachine05 manager John Eigenauer said, "This one was a real roller coaster. I thought we had this one locked up until Tolan blasted his two out jack off Dan McGinn. But Sal Bando proved to be the man today!"

Reggie Jackson rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Cleveland Stadium as the Analysis Paralysis staged a comeback win over the Obviously 5 Relievers by the count of 10 to 8. Paralysis manager, Jaque Itch, said, "It was pretty exciting today. Even though we were on the road, when we came to bat in the top of the ninth, a few of our fans could be heard chanting, REGGIE, REGGIE, REGGIE! And did he ever give them something to chant about!"

NOV 24 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHTLIGHTLY"

Ron Taylor delivered 4 solid innings in relief and right fielder Pete Rose had 4 hits and 2 RBI at Dodger Stadium as the Midnight Special won in dramatic fashion coming back to beat the Orlando Yankees in 13 innings by the count of 8 to 7. The Yankees had scored a tally in the top of the inning, but Midnight stage their comeback when Luis Aparicio led off the inning with a walk from Dean Chance. Aparicio then stole second base. Rose then laced a base-hit scoring a run. Willie Mays then sent a shot towards left field that Manny Mota booted for a three base error to allow the winning run to score. Yankees manager, John Rossiter, said, "We love Manny's bat, but his E-16 fielding is killing us. He has already made 4 errors on the season. With our stable of left fielders, we may have to spend some extra time shagging fly balls in practice!"

Often quoted Paralysis manager Jaque Itch, said, "Man, this one was tough. After Reggie went beserk, the Old Style was flowing in the bleachers. Most of our fans were so drunk by the seventh inning stretch, I'm not sure if they know we lost the game!"
