tersignf, In answer to your question on Drew. I had him batting 4th behind Rowand. But a few days ago I move him up to 3rd and Rowand is batting behind him. Here is the current lineups I have at this time.

Lineup vs. LHP
1. Freel, Ryan (R) LF
2. Jeter, Derek (R) SS
3. Drew, J.D. (L) RF
4. Rowand, Aaron (R) CF
5. Snow, J.T. (L) 1B
6. Merloni, Lou (R) DH
7. Chavez, Eric (L) 3B
8. Closser, J.D. (S) C
9. Kennedy, Adam (L) 2B

Lineup vs. RHP
1. Davanon, Jeff (S) DH
2. Freel, Ryan (R) LF
3. Drew, J.D. (L) RF
4. Rowand, Aaron (R) CF
5. Snow, J.T. (L) 1B
6. Jeter, Derek (R) SS
7. Chavez, Eric (L) 3B
8. Closser, J.D. (S) C
9. Kennedy, Adam (L) 2B

I still am not hitting well and Drew is not hitting much yet either. I brought in Snow and Drew to improve my OBP and time will tell. Chavez has started to produce better but very quietly. Nothing big from him yet. Thinking of moving him up to #4 to see.

Personally, I think that Orlando Hudson would be an improvement over Adam Kennedy at second base. Some people might point at Hudson's injury rating as a reason not to pull the trigger, but Kennedy is a ticking time bomb in terms of injuries, anyway. On top of that, it looks like you're paying J.T. Snow to play in 1/3 of your games, sitting behind Lou Merloni when you face a lefty. If that's the case, I think you should make this deal, platoon Franco with Merloni, and let Hudson play second base for you. Just my thoughts.

Now, with Wagner... any time you can pick that guy up, [i:14ad6ce45b]do it.[/i:14ad6ce45b] He's lights out much more often that not, from what I've seen, and I think he could really solidify your bullpen. If all it costs you is Buerhle and Kline, even better.

You may want to bat Drew 2nd or leadoff in your park with the way your offense is going. It's unconventional but I did it in Petco (Kendall Drew Berkman 1-2-3 and Kendall Drew Casey) with success. Uusually you would like someone with lots of hits, productive outs (ie gb C) and less double plays. He doesn't have a large amt of hits, but will get on base a bunch. Drew is someone you want up as often as possible. I don't think he has nearly enough TBs in your park for cleanup. But as 1 or 2 he would be better--extends your innings by getting on base.

I'd ask myself...is Backe worth giving up Westbrook for? And is Clayton worth giving up Jeter for? I don't think I'd make that trade myself.

I'd agree with 1crazycanuk, that deal isn't worth it. Besides, you're giving up Derek Jeter for Royce Clayton. I hate Jeter, but even I wouldn't give him up.

Ok, Latest offer I have received:

You give up: Perez, Neifi (1,050,000), Jeter, Derek (6,860,000), Buehrle, Mark (3,440,000)
Other team gives up: Furcal, Rafael (2,430,000), Hudson, Orlando (4,110,000), Lilly, Ted (4,520,000)

Here is reason I am asking. It will give me more money and I will be cutting Furcal, Kennedy(or Hudson) to pick up Rollins at SS. Will still leave me with $712,000 after all of this. Then I can still try to package 2 *SP pitchers together to get another upgrade somewhere?

Or I can make this trade to get Lilly?
You give up: Closser, J.D. (2,640,000), Buehrle, Mark (3,440,000)
Other team gives up: Olivo, Miguel (1,790,000), Lilly, Ted (4,520,000)

(Is Closser that much better then Olivo? Olivo has a better arm otherwise D is very close to similar. I know that Lilly is an upgrade over Buehrle)

I am ready to pull the trigger on either one of of these offers.

jd, Snow was just picked up in the past week or so. I had Konerko and he was horrible on my team.
