NOV 19 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Chien-Ming Wang went the distance as the Ottawa Heathens beat the Fastball Fiends by a score of 11 to 3. Every hitter in the lineup had a base hit as the Heathens knocked out ace SP Roy Halladay in the third inning. Halladay (2-9) absorbed the loss as he served up 3 gopher balls among 8 hits in only 2 innings. Nicholas Savoie, Heathens manager, said, "Our lineup really clicked tonight! It was nice to see everyone contribute against a top pitcher like Halladay. It was a great team effort."

NOV 20 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Carlos Zambrano shutout the Scrubs while allowing the Midwest bullpen a day-off at Camden Yards where the Midwest Space Cadets beat the Scrubs Are us 8 to 0. Zambrano (9-5) dominated Scrubs hitters. He didn't allow much, just 4 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 4.92.

NOV 21 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Jake Peavy hurled a fine complete game shutout at Comerica Park where the Work Aholics beat the Fastball Fiends 6 to 0. Peavy (5-4) was virtually untouchable. He allowed only 5 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 4.33 to 3.89.

NOV 22 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

It was a laugher out at Fenway Parkas the Scrubs Are us annihilated the Fastball Fiends, 15-3. The Scrubs fans enjoyed the offense provided by Manny Ramirez. He doubled with all three runners coming home in the 4th inning and cracked a two-run shot (his 12th of the season) in the 7th inning. Scrubs bats were hot in the 4th inning which saw them plate 8 runs on 5 hits and the 7th inning when they had 4 runs on 4 hits. Scrubs out-hit Fastball for the game, 17 hits to 6.

NOV 23 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Jose Valentin smashed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Ottawa Heathens crushed the Oakie Mustokies 16 to 3. Valentin provided much of the offense. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 6th inning, doubled plating three runs in the 7th inning and blasted a solo shot (his 15th of the season) in the 7th inning. Ottawa lit up the scoreboard in the 6th inning which saw them plate 4 runs on 5 hits and the 7th inning when they had 11 runs on 9 hits. Heathens General Manager, Arryl Tremaine, said, "It's about time Johnny Law gave our team a little publicity in the "Nightly Highlightly". He knows a lawsuit could be pending, as his publication looks very similar to my "AT PRESS". If we continue to get some ink, I may let it slide!"

NOV 24 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Scott Kazmir and Billy Wagner combined efforts to throw a shutout as the Buffalo Bombers beat the Tchoupitoulas Dos Jefes by the score of 1 to 0 at SAFECO Field. Kazmir (7-4, 2.83 E.R.A.) allowed only three hits and no walks and struck out 8 batters in his 8 innings of work. Wagner worked a perfect ninth inning to pick up his 28th save.

NOV 25 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Jon Garland took a no-hitter into the 7th inning at Dodger Stadium as the Ottawa Heathens, running on all cylinders, ripped the Oakie Mustokies by a large 13 to 0 margin. Jose Valentin hit 2 homeruns and drove in 4 runs, and Ryan Howard smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI for the Heathens. Heathens General Manager, Arryl Tremaine, said, "It's seems that Johnny Law is finally giving our team a little more publicity in the "Nightly Highlightly". He may actually be smarter than he looks!"
