Any Love for Rolfe

Any Love for Rolfe

Postby nevdully's » Sat Dec 31, 2005 9:05 pm

I've found Mr. Rolfe to be quite productive despite his negative clutch.

He's a little slow for leadoff and hits into too many DPs to bat 2nd, but I've hit him 3rd, 6th and 7th with solid success....And remember unlike Jackie and Steiny who can be injured for 15 games at a clip, Rolfe plays every inning........

Rolfe playing mostly in Dunn and Forbes where he's Averaged over 100 runs, 100 rbi and .300+ batting, including a .366 season!.......

Hit him cleanup once in a 60mil league in Dunn.

He drove in over 100.

I'm a fan of his. He consistently puts up good #s when I've used him in a leadoff position.

Hard to complain about a player that hits near .400obp and plays good defense every day with no injuries, especially when he's a third baseman.

I used to use Rolfe frequently in ATG I. Now I tend to use Mathews, but have no problem grabbing Rolfe if I need to.

I also used to use some guy named Weaver in ATG I. I used to be able to get him, but his stock seems to have soared past my valuation point. I can't honestly list him in my top 5 and feel good about it.

 :?: :!:

Just wanted to use those emoticons, they seem neglected.

LOVE Rolfe, though I rarely get him. Plus, my #1 choice at 3B is Mathews. Then Rolfe. But I have failed to get either of them a few times.
