ratioman I think you made good decisions. now if we could get thurm and then marge to announce the next couple of rounds maybe we can get this thing moving.

Ratioman, thanks for clearing things up. Also, appreciate Buckaroo for making that change even though I wanted Gehrig. It's funny, but this is the 3rd time I came within one pick of getting the guy I wanted only to lose him to the guy who picks just before me. Such are the fortunes of a position draft. I'm having a blast with this.

I'll make my pick in a moment.

Round 8... depending on the choice, my 2nd slot pick is very much up for trade.

I know this for sure... Jackie, Morgan, Cobb, Greenberg, Hack... those first five will produce some serious runs!!!

Now if I can just figure out how to get 3 more SP's, a pen, and LF/1B/C/SS for under 48M I'll be fine! :?

Thurm has confirmed it... my 8th round pick.... #2 at 3B... is up for grabs. I plan to use Jackie there.

Looking for a swap in round 9 (near bottom) or perhaps other rounds if movement isn't too large (I'm in middle of 10,11,12)

novie's pick rd 8

Postby unclerowser » Mon Jan 02, 2006 1:09 pm

i'd consider swapping pix in rds 8 & 10 depending on which 3b is taken first. i would be giving up 1st pick in rd 10 and 6th pick in rd 8 for 2nd pick in rd 8 and 5th pick in rd 10. any interest?

When I checked in this morning, I thought I saw Buck had selected Jack Clark, not Lou Gehrig.

Guess I had too many beverages last night.

Just made my pick...sorry for the delay...last time I checked we were waiting to see what the position was going to be for round 7...couldn't leave proxies..

I'll announce Rd 9 as soon as Thurm announces Rd 8....

Any interest in trading F. Chance for an early pick in rd 8, and your later pick in rd 7? I already have a first baseman (Musial), but will keep him and play him in LF if there is no interest in Chance...I'll be checking in pretty often to announce round 9...
