Live Draft 1969??

Our historical single season sets

Minnie Minoso, You can not select Phil Roof because you don't have enough cap room. You need to make you selection ASAP and it can't be Roof.

You have spent 78.43M on 22 players. That means you have 3 more players to pick with only 1.57M. Roof costs .93 which would not leave you enough salary cap to get two more .50 players. Your next 3 players will have to cost something like .50, .50 & .57. You cannot afford any player priced over .57 for your next pick.

Everyone MUST live draft 25 players that total 80M or less. After the AD you can drop your roster size down lower if you wish but to begin with it must be 25 players at 80M.

Phil Roof is available to any other owner. If he is not live drafted you can release a player and go for him.

minnie, you can't select Roof, because that would not leave you enough $$$ left to draft a legal roster. Drafting Roof would put you at $79.36 and you still need to draft two players, since you have already picked a stadium. Even with two .50 players, that would put your payroll at $80.36.

The site is smart like that. You will hve to draft someone else and hope that no one takes Roof before you can drop a extraneous player and pick him up, post autodraft.

That's why I suggested a 25-person draft, since virtually nobody actually carries 25 people on the roster.

League Set Up

Postby LMBombers » Fri Nov 30, 2007 10:45 am

When someone goes to set up the league please set it up as a Frenzy. Since we live drafted our entire rosters there is no need for waivers. Also every owner will get every player they draft so waivers would not be a fair way to give a priority FA pick.

Also, the site knows that you have to have two catchers on your roster as well, I believe.

It's almost HAL-like in its omnipotence.

There is no limit to the number of catcher rated players you can draft. There is a minimum of two but no maximum.

Let me rephrase for my anal-retentive friend... :P

Also, the site knows that you have to have [b:49fd89759c][i:49fd89759c]at least[/i:49fd89759c] [/b:49fd89759c]two catchers on your roster as well, I believe. :D
