Is there any hope?

After 78 games Ryan Howard has 46 hrs and 98 rbi for me....will "normalization" kick in? Is there any chance of repeating such a great first half? Or even coming close? Lot of HR ball parks in the league. Thanks.

I doubt he will keep up that pace. I don't know what the record is in the 2007 set, but I have never seen 90 + HR. I'll have to check, but I don't recall 80+ HR either.

Since you say there are a lot of batter's parks in your league, my prediction, for what it is worth, is 75 HR 165 RBI.(And that in itself would be a kick a_s season 8-))

I have had Howard on about 4 teams, and he has averaged about 55, 125 for me. Then again, I tend towards pitcher's parks.

I agree, with 40+ '07 teams, best HR season I've had so far was Pujols with 72 and 154 RBI. I don't recall seeing anyone with 80 or 90+ HRs either.

Hafner had 92/207 for me, but that was in a Longballer theme with no pitching and all hitter parks, so I don't count that.
