Ok, here it is pre-waivers:

My team doesn't have a whole lot of power. Is that important in Petco or do I go more for OBP and speed in which case I think my team may be ok.

I still think you need a hitter with some natural HR's. Glaus is my favorite choice for Petco.

This is how I got them lined up. The only thing I can think of changing is batting Loretta 5th and batting Kendall or Winn 2nd. I got Lowell 8th because he's week vs. righties. I read a post somewhere that we shouldn't put too much emphasis on the clutch symbol because in 108 at bats reflected in the hitters card the chance of it coming up a lot is not that significant. I think I got OBP and high average hitters up and down this lineup. If they can't score more than 3.9 runs a game that they've been averaging, well, PETCO suppresses offense a lot more than I thought! (or the computer just hates my guts)

6. Kendall, Jason (R) C
7. Winn, Randy (S) LF
8. Lowell, Mike (R) 3B
9. Eckstein, David (R) inj SS

Lineup vs. LHP
CHANGE THIS LINEUP
1. Pierre, Juan (L) CF

I think loretta is the perfect #2 guy, he gets on base, has doubles power and bats well versus left and right, the only drawback being he is only an average runner (and he can be tough to get)

I play petco almost exclusively, below are some of my teams with their lineups versus righthanders. All of these teams won their division and made it to the finals with one champ

Looking at your teams, I think I would need more LH XBH's. I think I'll have to make a trade have to make a trade somewhere. I think my team might have too many similar type players (singles, doubles hitters, i.e. Kendall, Klesko, Winn). Thanks for the links to your teams!

the teams I listed above may have been LH heavy due to certain conditions (division make up, availability of players)

I try to build a core of quality players and build around them according to my division,

core being

SS defense
2B defense
CF defense
2 quality natural HR hitters

what I try to do is limit the switch hitters to 2, then balance RH vs LH evenly, especially in the top 4 lineup positions

here are a few more "in progress" teams:

I also wanted to mention one other thing, given petcos extreme pitcher friendly numbers you will notice I use a variety of cheap pitchers rather effectively, look for guys like

starting pitchers
ted lilly
mark buerhle
tom glavine
greg maddux
mark mulder
jeff weaver
nate robinson

closers
john smoltz
troy percival

relief
justin duchscherer
rheal cormier
ryan madson
scott atchison

I have found by trial and error that they end up giving just as good a performance as some of the high priced alternatives

what these pitchers have in common is they don't give up a lot of HRs and they tend to give up more singles and walks than anything

Would anyone use Loretta for a DH? I already have Castillo at 2B.

Loretta's a great DH at Petco, if you have other folks hitting some natural HRs. Vlad should be hitting 3rd I think--definitely not Huff anyway.

Really don't like Pierre's arm in CF, especially in Petco, but he will hit some virtual doubles for you and get driven in by Loretta an awful lot.

Don't get fixed on OBA and smallball in Petco--you do need a few folks who get natural hits incl HRs (like Vlad, Loretta which are fine).

Good Luck--advise how it works out
