NOV 27 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHTLIGHTLY"

Dick McAuliffe went 3-5 with 2 homeruns and 5 RBI's and Larry Dierker hurled a 3 hit shutout at RFK Stadium as the orbiting Dead Circuits ripped the Orlando Yankees 11-0! Dierker walked none and struckout seven evening his season record to (3-3) and lowering his E.R.A. to 4.20. "When Dierker is on like that it is a tough game to play, no doubt about it," John Rossiter said. "That guy is so smart he should consider managing in the big leagues after his playing days are over!"

NOV 28 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHTLIGHTLY"

Dock Ellis fired a three hiter at Tiger Stadium as the Burnt Weeniesandwich beat the orbiting Dead Circuits 2 to 0. Ellis (4-0) put on a good performance allowing 5 walks with 3 strikeouts while lowering his ERA from 4.23 to 3.42. Weeniesandwich manager, Frank Zappa, said, "Dock Ellis was dealin' tonight! He had the other team steppin' and fetchin', like their heads were on fire and their asses were catchin'!"

NOV 29 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHTLIGHTLY"

Bob Gibson threw a complete game shutout at Cleveland Stadium as the Obviously 5 Relievers beat the Orlando Yankees by the count of 7 to 0. Gibson(4-4) hurled his second shutout in his last three games. He surrendered only 9 hits and 3 walks dropping his E.R.A. from 3.79 to 3.25. When questioned, PillPop "Dylan" remarked, "It's been a while since a win felt this good - heck, it's been a while since we had a win period!"

Fergie Jenkins went 9 strong innings at Municipal Stadium where the Buffalo
Holly Byrds beat the Woodstock Outhouses III 3 to 0. Jenkins (4-5) walked only one batter and had 7 strike outs while lowering his season E.R.A. to 3.08.

DEC 1 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Tommie Agee jacked one out of the ballyard and had 5 RBI as the burnt
weeniesandwich man-handled the Bakersfield BigRedMachine05 14 to 2. Agee had a big day at the plate. He slapped a single plating two runs in the
1st inning and lost the ball over the fence for three runs (his 7th of the
season) in the 3rd inning. burnt dominated offensively as 4 players had 3 hits each, they scored in 6 different innings, and pounded out 18 hits in the game!

Phil Niekro threw a shutout at Yankee Stadium as the orbiting Dead Circuits beat the Munich Schlagmeisters 4 to 0. Niekro allowed only five hits and one walk while striking out five raising his record to (7-4) and lowering his E.R.A. to 3.81.

DEC 3 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

In a dramatic ending, the Bakersfield BigRedMachine05 staged a comeback win over the Woodstock Outhouses III by the count of 8 to 6. Bakersfield won the game with a rally in the bottom of the 9th inning when
they tallied 5 runs on 4 hits. The highlight belonged to Carlos May who made the home-town crowd a happy bunch when he rifled a three-run walk off home run blast (his 6th of the season).

Love these highlights. Wish my team could make them more often...

If we reconvene for another live-draft league, we should really make it 80M, no DH. These 100M lineups are killing me!

Just returned from vacation, so slowly catching up on highlights. I am going to post a thread very soon for a new live draft league. (80 MIL with DH) An 80 mil no DH draft was just completed.
