I don't know if you did the math to project the salaries of potential teams, but here is how they would come out approximately:
No pitch projection: 120M
(no one is competing against the three "no pitch" teams for the top hitters, so they will have huge salary totals)
No hit projection: 80M
(not only are there far less high-price options for pitchers, but the "no balance" teams' pitching options will intersect significantly with the "no hit" teams' pitching options, thus depleting their salaries even further)
No balance projection: 90M
(there are decent options for righty teams here, but they will get pilfered some by the "no hit" and "no star" teams)
No star projection: 70M
The reason no one has taken the "no hit" option is that it is dramatically disadvantaged. Even though the salary total will be above that of "no star" and near that of "no balance," the fact that the pitching/hitting balance is so out of whack will make it impossible to compete. I would recommend considering some overall salary caps or significant "players available" adjustments such that "no hit" ends up being about the same salary as "no pitch." "No balance" and "no star" should have lower salaries than these two.
It's a great idea for a league...I hope it plays out well for you.

When I started this concept I wanted to create 4 options which were simple and fairly equal in strategy. Based on Maligned's feedback and the fact that two of the options are more popular I would like to PROPOSE slightly new options. This is not a rule change, just an idea and if the other managers think this leads to greater parity, we can make this a real switch.
New proposal
#1 NO hit, No batters above 1.75
#2 NO pitch No Pitchers above 1.11
#3 NO Stars No Hitters above 4.00, No Pitchers above 3.50
#4 NO Balance, No Hitters above 5.00 No Pitchers above 4.50, All 25 Players must all be righties or all be lefties.
100 Mil league.
What do you think?

I like the concept of the league. Anything to get it off the ground. Also maybe implement the lowest drop penalty.

Autodraft, 200 Mil DH (but with a 110 mil salary limit, functionally this means you must always have 90 mil left to spend) I did this because 100 mil would be too restrictive for NO Pitch teams and rob them of the advantage that makes up for their pitiful pitching.
NO hit - No Hitters over 1.75
NO Pitch - No pitchers over 1.11
NO Stars - No Hitters over 4.00, No pitchers over 3.50
NO Balance - No Hitters over 5.00, No Pitchers over 4.50. Entire team must be All Right-handed OR all left-handed.
I will open the league, and once we fill a division, I will give that division the password.
Let's make this happen!
