What is the maximum number of games a *SP can be injured for? I thought it was a maximum of 3 games?

The * has no bearing on length of injury. It goes strictly by the number of innings pitched. If a pitcher had 200 IP or more then he has a maximum of a 3 game injury. If he had less than 200 IP then he could get up to 15 games at a time. Francis pitched 199 innings to even though he is a *SP he could get up to a 15 game injury.
Most *SP have 200+ IP but not all.
