2007 season, $80M, DH, 20% cut, weighted waivers, unique stadium (no duplicates), [b:49ca329a0a]25 man strict roster (no more, no less) effective games 1 - 162 [/b:49ca329a0a](excluding preseason transactions), 5 man strict rotation with[b:49ca329a0a] each SP needing 4 days rest (*SP is null & void).[/b:49ca329a0a] First come, first served basis. The intent of this league is to assemble a lineup of every day position players, while minimizing platoons, injuries and the inflated stats of bench/Sept. call-up/role/platoon players.
1. Players with injury ratings over 4 are ineligible for this league. Players with injury ratings of 0, 1 or 2 can play fielding positions. Players with injury ratings of 3 or 4 can play only C or DH positions. All players with injury ratings of 5 or 6 are ineligible for this league.
2. Starting pitchers must have a minimum [b:49ca329a0a]130 IP[/b:49ca329a0a] to be eligible to start.
3. Relief pitchers must have a minimum [b:49ca329a0a]35 IP[/b:49ca329a0a] to be eligible.
4. Position players must have a minimum 125 plate appearances (PA) = at bats + walks to be eligible. Starting position players need [b:49ca329a0a]minimum 500 PA[/b:49ca329a0a] and an injury rating of [b:49ca329a0a]0, 1 or 2.[/[/b:49ca329a0a]b]
5. No starting position player that fields a position may have a defensive range rating of 5. They can only be DHs or bench reserves.
6. Each team can have no more than two players with an injury rating of 3 or 4 and those players must either be a DH or C positions exclusively.
7. Primary closer must have a rating of [b:49ca329a0a]3, 4, 5 or 6 outs[/b:49ca329a0a] in closing situations. You must have a minimum of one qualified primary closer. You can only have a maximum of two RPs with closer ratings of 5 or 6 on your roster until waivers have been fully proccessed. After waivers have been processed, then you have as many as you want, but a minimum of one who will be your primary closer.
8. [b:49ca329a0a]Before waivers[/b:49ca329a0a] have been processed, you may not have more than a single fielding position player with more than [b:49ca329a0a]500 PAs [/b:49ca329a0a]at each position. (e.g N. Swisher would qaulify at either 1B, RF or LF, but you can have two other position players that play 2 of those three positions) (e.g. you couldn't have both Jose Reyes and J. Rollins until waivers has been completed.) This will ensure each team has adequate depth during the draft and waivers to fill out their rosters. [b:49ca329a0a]Only after waivers[/b:49ca329a0a] have been fully processed, then you can add as many [b:49ca329a0a]500+ PA [/b:49ca329a0a]players as you want, even if they play the same position.
9. At each respective fielding position, you must start a player with at least [b:49ca329a0a]500 PA[/b:49ca329a0a] and 2 or less injury rating unless a current injury prohibits your ability to do so. (exceptions: C and DH rules). General rule: always start the player at the position with the most PAs unless injury prohibits you from doing so. [b:49ca329a0a]The goal for each team should be to have 500 PA[/b:49ca329a0a] guys at each position in their starting lineup if possible (per the Ripken theme).

[b:49ca329a0a]Starting Position requirements:[/b:49ca329a0a][/u:49ca329a0a]
C - Your two catchers must combine for a [b:49ca329a0a]minimum 500 PAs[/b:49ca329a0a] with no injury rating over 4. Primary starter must have at least 225 PAs. Guys with a range factor of 5 (e.g. Willingham) don't count as your # 1 or #2 C. They can only be an emergency #3 C when forced by injury necessaty.

DH - this will be your [b:49ca329a0a]classic DH:[/b:49ca329a0a] minimum 225 PAs, minimum 10 HRs, and must have a defensive range rating of 4 or 5 (except for injury replacements as necessary). Bench: players must have an injury rating of 1 or 2 (no 3's or 4's) and between 125 PAs and 499 PAs before waivers has been processed. After waivers have been processed, you can exceed 500 PAs (injury rating of 0, 1 or 2). [b:49ca329a0a]Bench players should be used as bench players:[/b:49ca329a0a] injury replacement, pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive replacements only, not glorified everyday platoons or starters.
Divisions: (each team can only select one of the stadiums next to their team number) You can not pick any other stadium assigned to any other team. You do not have to disclose which of your designated stadiums you select.

It is critical that your draft and waiver processing complys with the league rules to ensure fairness and competetive team composition.
HONESTY, INTEGRITY AND FAIRNESS ARE NOT OPTIONIONAL.
