First, congratulations to AFDickie for taking the title in our inaugural season (so this is how many times a 100+ win team doesn't win the championship?)

Secondly, in order to provide Qksilver with another shot at the finals next year, Kaviksdad trades David Ortiz, Damaso Marte and prospect Travis Snider to him for Travis Hafner, Jeremy Hermida, and Willie Harris.

I wanted to congratulate AF Dickie for his remarkable job in the playoffs and his great skill in upholding the honor of the Central Division. To think my Gorillas split 12-12 with the Mets!

Then, I have to express shock and horror at Kaviksdad for that trade! Not only Ortiz, but a prospect too???? Good god! At least your comment shows that you you knew what you were doing. :shock:

Looking for a SS and a 2bagger. Maybe we have a better chance of hammering something out before the cards are released. Kind of a speculation thing...anyone else game?

Quick check-in from the Philippines, where I'm on a biz trip with little net access. I see AFD beat my best RHP in game 7. He was much worse vs RH than LH this year, so his guys really came through. Nice job AFD!

I confirm the above trade with KD. Will field any other trade offers over the weekend once I get to Tokyo and have better 'net access....

I trade Tad Iguchi to Niners for his 7th round pick in the upcoming draft + Marcus Giles. Now Giles is the mediocre 2B who moves to my cut list...
