Okay, we gotta find Grindi. I have paged him on the main boards. His password has been reset to TEST.

Keep checking the draft site, we will get rolling soon.

No worries, Grindi, there is no clock for the first rounds. The clock will kick in starting with round 3, though.

All the particulars are spelled out in this thread, but basically, it's a 16 round draft, with 15 player picks and one unique stadium. The clock will kick in starting with round 3, 3 hours per pick, from 9am EST to 11pm EST. If you have a scheduled delay from picking, you can post here and at least everyone will know not to bother checking until you return. This sort of thing is fine by me, and by everyone else, I'm assuming.

Nev's up, and we'll start to rock through these picks like Reggie Bush through the Texas defense... :D

OK, I'll let that analogy pass. Texas just might suprise USC, as great as USC is. I think Texas actually has a higher scoring average per game, and Texas will definitely be USC's toughest test. As to the draft, which is moving like molasses in winter, I assume no clock on weekends? If so, we may not really get this thing moving until Monday.

Yeah, no clock on the weekends. I think once everyone gets going, we'll move along quickly. We're all pretty familiar with these things, and once we get through the first few rounds, proxies will move us along.

I don't really know much about either school, but I like Carroll, as should you for his Patriot period.

He is a perfect college coach, the rah-rah guy, and a real nice guy it would appear.

Don't know much about Texas, but you gotta respect their football tradition and passion.

Should be a good matchup.

Now...if Grindi would kindly remove his pick and try again, we can really get underway... :D  :P

I do love watching college football and listening to Keith Jackson's voice.

I do like Carroll, and USC, for that matter. But, I have to root for Texas, since I grew up in the Lone Star State. :)
