DEC 14 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

In another impressive outing from the bullpen, Pedro Feliciano (14-3), went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs in a dramatic ending as the Buffalo Bombers staged a comeback and held on to win over the Fastball Fiends by the count of 5 to 3. Buffalo had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs utilizing 2 base hits. Carlos Beltran opened up the inning with a walk. David Wright followed and he drew a walk. Raul Ibanez then doubled scoring two baserunners. After an out was recorded, Jose Reyes stepped in and he doubled scoring the final run of the inning.

DEC 15 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Kenny Rogers (19-9) pitched a 2 hit shutout and second baseman Chase Utley ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Comerica Park where the New Mexico Scorpions beat the Fastball Fiends by the score of 8 to 0.

DEC 16 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

The Midwest Space Cadets secured the sweep as Vladimir Guerrero homered and had 2 RBI at Camden Yards as the Midwest Space Cadets beat the Tchoupitoulas Dos Jefes by the count of 5 to 4. The Space Cadets used 7 pitchers in the victory!

At Rogers Centre, the Dunder fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Jeremy Bonderman (18-11) finally bested his East Granby opposite, John Lackey (20-12), by the score of 2 to 1. Alfonso Soriano blasted his 60th home run and Albert Pujols added his 52nd on the season to provide the offense for the Mifflins.

DEC 18 - "B.Y.O.B. NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Pedro Martinez allowed only 1 hit, a 5th inning single to Khalil Greene, and struck out 15 batters as the Buffalo Bombers defeated the New Mexico Scorpions 9 to 0 at Tropicana Field. Martinez dominated the Scorpions, the top scoring team in the BYOB league.

I knew I was in trouble when Pedro lost game 1, but I thought I'd be more thean a speedbump on Terry's way to the finals based on our head to head record :shock: .

oh well at least I have the numer 3 or 4 draft pick ( not sure which, I was the wild card but the same record as the likewise playoff ousted Heathens)

Can't wait to build around Young, Kazmir, Reyes, Wright, Phillips, Beltran and Markakis my number 8 keeper is still up in the air...
