Big Booger goes 5-5 with 7 RBI's. And most of the damage came against Denny McLain. [/quote:f1c0fb5710]

Powell was heard commenting after the game, "That's what McLain gets for turning that triple play on me last year!"

DEC 17 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Third baseman Harmon Killebrew slammed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Woodstock Outhouses III defeated the burnt weeniesandwich by a score of 13 to 12 at Metropolitan Stadium. Killebrew had a great day at the plate. He belted a three-run homer in the 5th inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 35th of the season) in the 8th inning! Weeniesandwich lost despite out hitting the Outhouses 21-9. Weeniesandwich manager Frank Zappa lamented "Man that one was tough! If we keep this up, I might wind up workin in a gas station!"

You're right! I have Bando in two leagues and I got them mixed up! (Actually, I am Sal Bando's agent and I'm trying to get him some hype!)

Sorry guys!

DEC 18 - "1969 VIRGINS NIGHTLY HIGHLIGHTLY"

Jerry Koosman tossed a 10 innning complete game shutout at Forbes Field as the Munich Schlagmeisters beat the burnt weeniesandwich 1 to 0. The score was knotted at zero after nine innings. Munich won the game in the 10th inning. Dave Johnson stroked a single. After an out was recorded, Jim Perry threw a wild pitch. Mark Belanger then doubled home the winning run making Munich victorious to the delight of the 22,509 in attendance. Schlagmeisters manager Rick Biermeister said, "That was an exciting finish. The fans were really into this pitchers duel. Our management loves extra inning games as our beer sales are outstanding. We don't have a "cheesy" last call after the seventh inning rule here in Munich!"
