Managerial Settings for Relievers

The PC game help says:[code:1:5ef2b159a8]RELIEF USAGE

To determine Using Relief settings divide Saves/Wins and refer to the chart below:

SAVES/WINS SETTING COMMENTS
.000-.275 EXTRA CONSERV Pre-WWII, maximize cg's, no
closer
.276-.350 CONSERVATIVE 1940's-1960's, many cg's, may use
closer
.351-.450 NORMAL 1950's-1970's, balance cg's and
closer
.451-.575 AGGRESSIVE 1960's-1990's, emphasize closer,
few cg's
.576 + VERY AGGRESS 1980's-1990's, heavy emphasis on
closer

CG's refer to complete games.[/code:1:5ef2b159a8]Not the clearest writing in the world, but you can see that it is describing the setting in terms of complete games vs. "bringing in the closer." At least to me, that means that the setting deals with the decision to take out the starter, as opposed to the decision to bring in further relievers once you've already relieved him.

Note that the more "conservative" settings are not available in TSN, as otherwise no one would buy a bullpen. Conservative/normal/aggressive in TSN corresponds either to normal/aggressive/very aggressive or aggressive/very aggressive/extremely aggressive in the PC game; I forget which, I think it's the first one but am not sure. (Yes, there is an "extremely aggressive" setting in the PC game, although it's not in the help file. :?
