I'll get constitution & initial done this weekend. Should be able to start draft on early next week, hopefully Monday, if that work's for everyone.

We have 7 thus far. I sent a PM to CPL asking if he would want to rejoin if we eliminate HOF'ers. That would give us 8, we'll see what happens. If Rjoh has the time or desire, that would give us 9.

I'd rather we do 1 division with top 4 teams (or 3, with top team betting a bye) making the playoffs, especially if we wind up with 7 teams.

Are you guys doing 2 series a week or 3?

If you were going to start next week, I would need to borrow someone's activation code for a few days so I could look at the players. (you would deactivate your season and lend me the code) I just ordered another season and it's been a week already.

Monday was probably a bit optimistic. Not everyone who has already committed has the '75 code yet (thought everyone did), Dave is still trying to recruit other players off other sites.

I'll still try to get everything else set, then we can start right away after that.

Not sure about playing weekends only. It's ok by me, but I know some players don't play at all on weekends (time for wife and kids).

If we have 8 teams, i was thinking we'd play 1 division, 154 games, 22 games against each team. The series would be broken down 3-4-4 (home and away). Because of the 4-game series, 2 series a week would probably be best, at least to start off with (we can speed up later if we ALL agree).

Any objections?

We're playing the '75 as a draft league with a limited number of players on the HOF disk as a draft league, using version 10.01 of the cd. You're #8 in the league so far, unless I'm miscounting. I'm hoping that we'll start the league a week from monday, or so.

If we have 8 or 9, we'll use 1 division, with top four teams making playoffs. If we have more, we'll split up into divisions.

We're fairly split as what everyone wants in the rules (looks like I'll have to decide):

Closer Rules: 3 Y, 4 N
Injuries: 3Y, 4N
Usage will be 100%.
HOF players from 2001 disk: 3

I have a real time problem. Starting maybe a week from Monday may be a problem for me. I have no time to draft after the 29th. 2 weeks would be tight, less wouldn't work.

I would need a commitment that a week from Monday is the definite start date of the draft. Otherwise, it looks like this isn't going to work for me.

My sort of the 1975 closers with a +3 rating shows 23 pitchers. Although it looks like only 5 had more than 20 saves, there seems to be a good selection. At least 14 have a WHIP of 1.20 or less...there's Fingers, Gossage, Hrabosky, Eastwick, McGraw. More than enough for each team to have 1 or 2.
