I've been following this thread and racking my brain to remember a card that caused a stir when it came out. Having no memory at all, I went to baseball-reference.com and found him - Hector Villanuava.
I don't remember what the card looked like, but I think on the advanced side it was particularly nasty, probably against lefties since he was right-handed. He was a reserve catcher for the Cubs, and it must have been his '90 or '91 card.
In 1990 he hit 7 homers in 114 at bats, and in 91 hit 13 homers and 10 doubles in 192 at bats.
Anyone with a better memory than I (ok, that's everyone) remember his card?
