Well, postdraft, only one oddity. I had drafted Kid Speer in the 11th round but he somehow wound up on the Thurm's team. Im sure he will gladly send him my way. Everyone else should check their rosters to make sure that they are correct as well.

With all of your starting lineup drafted, how do you think this waiver will shake out? Might've been better to frenzy, tho' I could be wrong.

Here's what I think bout the season so far...very early

My record and place in the division is about as expected. What surprises me so far...and I know it's too early to generalize...is my record at home is 5-1 and away is 2-4. The other 3 parks in my division are all small ball parks. Surprised to see such a descrepancy in the H/A thing right away. I've scored 2 more runs than I've given up...about as expected. When Banks starts hitting and Lefty Williams starts pitching (7+ ERA so far all in pitcher's parks)...I hope the ratio between RS/RA gets better...but then it could get worse once we leave the friendly confines of the EAST. Other than Banks and L. Williams I'm pretty satisfied with everyone's performance so far..

OK, Thurm. The waivers period has come and gone. What do you think about your team, and particularly our division?

I'm starting with high hopes. Should be very interesting with two hitter's parks and two pitcher's parks. I am playing for the first time with Ricky Henderson on my squad. He's one of five of my starters that is near or over 50 stolen bases. We're going to run, we're going to hit and run and I'm hoping for real small ball...we should hold our own in the hitter's parks, with a little help from hammerin Hank, Stan the Man and Ricky Henderson. Decent four man rotation....Hubbell and Johnson followed by Ames and a guy I picked up on waivers, Leilfield. Happy with my bullpen anchored by Nelson and Staley...Nelson will do well at home but I hold my breath in the hitter's parks. Third base a definite weakness, with Evers patrolling the hot corner, but in a position draft, almost everyone has one of those types of positions. I don't like having 3 position players besides the catcher that have possible 15 game injuries..but that's another thing that happens in position drafts, I believe. Ah, I'm happy with my D...except possibly playing Musial in LF, but Stan the Man will take over at first if by Chance, Frank gets the big 15 game injury. Picked by bench players for defense.

The big hitter's on the other teams in the division scare me, but I'm hoping to score a few more runs than we give up and be there scrambling for the division lead. I don't think anyone in our division will run away with a huge lead......but then I've been wrong before.

So Thurm, what do you think?

I'm afraid of this team...really afraid. Especially with the start. But be careful what I think. I thought I was drafting an 80 mil team  I had to scramble, with 20 million in my back pocket, but scramble nonetheless during waivers. After searching these boards for some input on some ideas I had, I even dropped some of my initial draft picks!!
So yeah, I'm hoping I run into a lot of injury riddled teams because I have a lot of strangers on this team, just hoping for the best. And if you look at my past ATGII performances that's not asking for a lot.
