No rush, PM. I'm actually enjoying this slow, holiday-like pacing of the draft. My first 69 live draft, so I'm just taking it all in.

I realize that we are going to need 25 players for the initial draft, but how about if we reduce the requirement for the roster size from 25 to 24? Since we're utilizing the DH, it doesn't seem like we need to carry as many pitchers on our rosters, and it sure would be nice to have a little more cash to improve the offensive performance.

I would prefer to stick with the original rules and the rigid 25-man roster.

By the way, I want to give a props to Toshiro who just whipped me in the World Series in a '69 league that just completed. I had a roster of Killebrew, Petrocelli, Howard, McClain, Jenkins, Carty, Willie Davis, Brooks... easily the best Auto-draft I ever had. I can't believe that team didn't finish

Oh well, I guess I'll keep fighting for ring #1 in '69.

Since we have a DH, I can't see any reason to carry 4-7 bench players either.

24 is plenty IMO, but whatever John wants. He's the boss!

Thanks for the props, PM. I had a great draft as well. But my I had a secret weapon -- I was the WC winner.

I think things are gonna pretty interesting in this time around-- no auto draft surprises.

While I also favor the flexibility of 24 players, other suggestions for changes have been rejected on the grounds that any changes violated original rules and therefore could not be considered. So do we consider changes by vote or reject them on the grounds that we must stay with original rules?
