The Kansas Hot Wheels got a great year out of Sandy. Not only did he win the MVP and Cy Young, he pitched a No-No on in his final game of the year. Is winning both awards a common occurance ?

Certainly not common, but it has happened from time to time. I remember Pete Alexander doing it a couple of times in leagues I played in, and I think Sandy may have done it in another league I played in. Wish I could get that kind of performance out of him. He consistently underperforms for me, despite me giving him chance after chance. :(

Pete won a Cy Young and MVP for me:

Alexander, P. R S8*/R5 26 4 0 315.0 211 67 70 235 1.91 .89 E 12.33M

In my greatest comeback; down 11 with 21 to play (Game 141):

He led the league in just about every pitching catagory:

And then he lost game 5 of the semis 6-3 after he and Hernandez both gave up two-run homers.
