Bob-- did you ever give any thought to my idea for having a rotation where certain franchises would rotate out for a season? You could have 13 franchises, and thereby 13 seasons, and each season one of the franchises would be unavailable to be drafted.
One season, Ruth would be available for the Red Sox, Pete Alexander could be available for the Cubs or Cards, Cuyler would be an option for the Pirates or Reds, Maris for the Cards, Frisch could be a Cardinal one season, Cobb could be an A (if we used them), Speaker could be the Red Sox CF, Paul Waner could be a Brave, etc.
The implementation of this might be difficult, but it would add a little twist to what we are trying to do. Just an idea, it makes my head start to hurt to think of the ramifications, though :shock:

oops, that was just supposed to be an idea for bob, thought I was using the PM :oops:
However, since it's out there, what do some of you think about it?
I just know that in a larger cap format, the tendencies are going to be for each franchise to look pretty similar in each subsequent season, and I was just looking for a way to spice it up a little.................
