Being a HUGE Bengals fan.....

Carson Palmer was injured on his first pass attempt of his career in the playoffs....

TORN ACL

Bengals hopeful for full recovery by July (unlikely tho)

For those that care....

Being the Steelers fan that I am , I hated to see Carson go down , seriously . Kitna is no Palmer . I like winning the game but next year the Bengals should be very tough . I see the Bengals and Steelers making the playoffs many times in the next 5 yrs. Get used to it Cincy ! ( I know you all aren't used to making the playoffs ) Steelers get Indy next and they will have to play a perfect game to win , which I don't think they will do .

Add to that a torn MCL......

So, I had Kitna penciled in as the starting QB for the Dolphins next year. With the current situation the way it is, Kitna is going nowhere, and, at best, Palmer is out a minimum of 8 months.....

So, Cincy falls back to the pack a lil, figure 9-10 wins (at best), and earlier T-times than they have this year

With a healty Palmer, Kitna woulda signed a 2 year deal in Miami for 5 million, now, with Carson out as long as he is, Kitna stays in Cincy for 1 year at 3.5 million or so.

Also, do not count out the Bears in the Kitna lottery. Kitna is a man of his means, Miami can toss out almost double what everybody else offers, and he would still stay in either Cincy or Chicago....

Bet on it....

I'm neither a Steeler or Bengal fan, but it is heart breaking to see Palmer get hurt. Have to hope it was a clean tear without much damage to the meniscus cartilege. Thank God for modern medicine and he's not a scrambler, but it's never nice to hurt your knees.

I guess this pretty much pays back the cheap shot Odell Thurman took at Ben's knees the last time around, huh?

PBTR......

Ummm, NO

Did Odell tear Ben's ACL and MCL??

And, who in thier mind would think of it as a payback?

Its not war, just a game man......

Could have.

Could Kimo have let up a few seconds earlier? Sure.

Oh well.

PBTR, hey, schmecky.......

Not once did I accuse the DE of a cheap hit. It wasnt, he was blocked into Palmer while surging towards him.

I dont blame him in the least, and, I really havent heard if anybody else that does....

Seems to me, your the only one that is proud of it?

nice

Yup, payback is a you-know-what.

This thread should have started life in the bullpen, has nothing to do with this format.
