Your pitching needs more work than your hitting. I would not have my most expensive SP be a LHP that slants towards LH hitting. I would drop Oliver Perez and if you want a LHP look for Glavine or other reverse lefties that are stronger vs RH hitting or a more even RHP. You don't want to have all hard RH pitching either.

Drop - O. Perez, Hendrickson & Maroth. In case you have a Shea in your division you could get a cheaper hard LHP like DuBose.

Do you play in a DH league? If so who are you planning to DH? I don't see an obvious choice.

I've played in the friendly confines of Wrigley a few times. My 2 cents:

Pitching:
Not crazy about having Perez, a LH, as my ace in a righty hitting haven.
Wright, Halladay, Clement and Lowry are fine choices. Pettitte is a better choice than Perez or Lowry though.

Unless there is a Shea IN YOUR division, I agree that Maroth AND Hendrickson should go. 2 cheaper LH's, if you should want are Lee and Dubose.

The bullpen is OK, but I'd like to see an innings eater in there. Hermanson is a good choice. He can spot start @ home as well.

Hitting:
You need a few lefty bats in this lineup. Cheap hard RH's, ie. Ramon Ortiz, will frustrate you unless you grab a few lefty bats.
Look for guys like:
Kotsay
Klesko
Mauer (Kills righties with his natural HR power)
Dejesus
Kennedy
Hatteberg

Mauer

I am also just starting a Wrigley team and am considering Mauer. He has a 6 injury rating - How many games/Ab's can I expect out of him?

It is hard to say of course, but you should get around 400 ab's from him...if so, he is well worth the $$$!!

I think you will be disappointed with rolens in Wrigley. He hits LH's better (of which you will see few), and gets hurt some. Is Beltre available, or if not, a possible trade? Beltre ROCKS in Wrigley. I am just afraid that you will not be happy with what Rolen gives you for the $$...

Tarbell brings up a good point. He'll hit well maybe not as good as his card though.

Castilla would give you good D, HR power and 600 PA's.
