[quote:1ef998fbe2]Ok, for anyone who might not be totally ignoring my posts yet....Anyone??? [/quote:1ef998fbe2]Oh, Jesus Christ. I had things to do on a Saturday. Is that ok with you? Please let me know how quickly you will be demanding answers, because if I can't manage to get back to you in that amount of time, in the future, I just won't bother.
Yes, the baseball game still has Netplay (did you really think they would have removed it?) The basketball game has Netplay too, BTW. It works well, other than the fact that it isn't a "native" Windows application, and so if let's say you want to remove your pitcher, instead of just dragging the new pitcher into the lineup as you would expect, you have to select the new pitcher and hit ALT-P. There are other "key combinations" like that that do various things. But you get used to them quickly, and the actual playing of the game is fine; lag/disconnection are rare, in my experience. You would not be able to Netplay with anyone who has any version other than v7; the two players have to have the same version of the game. I have never heard of this Yahoo Games thing and don't remember it at all. There is no centralized place to find opponents; you will have to find them yourself. The aforementioned SOM Fan Forum would be the best way to find a league to join, or a "pickup game," although quite honestly I don't think there is all that much demand for the latter.
