Yea, we should probably put a package together and start advertising for a replacement. I had experiences where ldanred goes awol for stretches of time. We could easily wind up with a draft that has us miss a monday start.

Anyone else want to chime in with an opinion?

It seems like we've been patient enough. I would agree that we should advertise for a replacement owner.

I haven't checked it out in detail, but I was wondering if Idanred had drafted primarily by proxy. It's puzzling that he would be involved with a draft and then all of sudden disappear.

Guys - I'm disappointed as well. I thought we would have all week to tweak our final rosters. Let's wait and see if IDANRED can fill this week. If we miss this weeks deadline, we will advertise for a new owner and start the following week.

It appears that Idanred used proxies on 4 of the last 7 picks, but the final pick was NOT a proxy. I have been in more than a few leagues with him (including another 1969 league based upon the round-by-round draft) and I would think that we should wait another day or two before we look for a replacement.

ldanred sighting. dspeters seems to have his phone number. I asked him if he'd call him on our behalf. I also found his email under his profile and sent on that. Hopefully we'll get a response today.

So at what point are we giving up... He has to know the draft is over by now... I think we should post for a replacement at this point.

we gave him enough time and now we have to wait another week...i'm suprised people have not started to drop out of this one. we need to replace him NOW. i'm sorry its come to this but it has and mr red needs kicked out of this league. even if he has a good excuse after a week their is NO excuse. please lets move past this and we can play with idanred another time

So what is supposed to happen now? Do we post a listing of his 15 drafted players and stadium on the message board and see if someone's interested in taking over the team, or are we soliciting a new owner and going through the draft again??
