Odd injury-Still unanswered

Here is one I have not seen before....
Comer gets injured when a LH hitter(M. Young) grounds out to leadoff an inning. Comer has no ground outs for injury on his card vs LH batters...

Panzer,

Two injuries against right handed hitters. Maybe Young tried the old batting from the same side of the plate as the pitcher!

Luis Castillo does it against Tim Wakefield when those two matchup.

I thought about the bunt attempt, but I wouldn't think M. Young would be bunting to leadoff an inning. (maybe just another Hal 'goofy' move)I dont remember what other things on the super advanced charts might have changed the result to a ground out.

More likely Comer's 5L season. HAL made Young bat from the RHH side to help the odds of getting Young on base.

I've always wondered whether HAL turns around switch hitters to adjust for pitcher's tendencies. This seems to prove that HAL takes pitcher strength into account when determining which side a switch hitter will step in to.

Might not be a bad idea to send a link to the game to:

stratomatic@sportingnews.com.

It would be interesting to see how they explain it.

I sent an email to Sporting News. They have not responded. Has anyone figured out how this injury happens?
