RP that are not getting used?

In ATG3 I picked up two RP that are R/L dominant respectively. They have great cards for their purpose, which is to face either a RHB or LHB and mow em down, and I have their settings correctly set to not face the opposite handed batters. Yet HAL never inserts them into the game?

I have a pitcher for my LH/RH set up role, and I have a RH closer & LH closer.

I want these two pitchers to be used in certain situations, basically to handle times late in a game when a line up is bringing up L,R,L etc...without having to use my set up man or closer just yet or if I have used them and they need pulled.

So how do I assure these two RP get used at all and hopefully correctly?

If you have other RP set up as Set Up man and Closer then all you can do is to go to their individual cards and check Avoid LH (or RH) batters, Quick Hook & max 1-2 IP. This is the best way to assure they get used in the way you intend. There are no guarantees but it is the best you can do to help guide HAL in his pitching management.

Be happy they are not getting used a lot, that means they are doing their jobs! Before the 8th or 9th inning HAL is terrible at using these kinds of guys only in their intended roles, you want the majority of your innings going to quality, balanced relievers.
