To give us more detail in terms of card results. We know fron the CD ROM game that this is not only possible, but the system is already in place.

Example:

2BX; ground out.

This tells us the out was made off the pitchers card.

It would be nice to know that if one of your pitchers lost a game of a hitters card result, that you should just tip your cap, and go get 'em next time.
