Does Mike Andrews just SUCK ?

Postby TomSiebert » Sat Jan 14, 2006 7:59 am

Continuing my long-suffering IF lamentations, Jim Fregosi and Mike Andrews continue their Ball-and-Chain act, dragging my otherwise notsobad squad down to the bottom of the division.

Last night, both guys made errors leading to two unearned runs, leading to a two run loss.

After 99 games, Fregosi, now at .240/.317/.330 and 3 HRs, is still sucking.

But Andrews, who costs over SIX MILLION DOLLARS, is horrible:

Andrews, Mike 2e26 365 43 11 3 45 43 0 19 .222 .304 .301

Several of those 19 errors have cost me ballgames. I'm in a league with many hitters parks, including Fulton and Shibe in my division, though I'm playing in Busch (and the other is Forbes).

But, sheesh, this is 220 POINTS off his OPS!! This season is killing me.

Pretty steady for me. 750 OPS, 15-20 HRs, 18-28 errors
