Who is your favorite centre fielder?

I also like Kotsay. I usually get him in the draft (although I rank near the top).

playing mostly in Shea and Petco, I have to say Damon and Kotsay are my two favorite CF, Kotsay is good due to hitting .300 and having a -3 arm while noodle arm Damon will hit 25 HRs and drive in 100 and score 100 easy every time.

went back and counted..wow I've had Kotsay a lot! so far 11 teams and Kotsay has been on 5! Damon 3 and then Hunter, Patterson (team theme) and Jones I had once.

This is after trades..I have traded for Kotsay twice ...no idea who I gave up! lol not even in the recent league, thought I had him all season, lol :)

Hunter???

Hunter's defense is great. Should be a better hitter by now though. I'm a Twins fan and watch all the games. He leaves a lot of runners on base.

Question: How did the teams with Kotsay in CF fare vs. Damon's teams and the others. Curious as to what impact a strong arm in center would have (of course relative to strength of league, home parks) Thanks

Wilkerson - who I bat in the 2 spot in power parks.

If I play in non power parks, hi singles parks or pitchers parks - then Pierre.

I like Jim Edmonds a bunch. If you can afford him and he's available after waivers, I would grab him in a heartbeat. I never try to draft him, though, because he costs so much and I try to make sure my draft card is at least solid all the way through.

I'm using Torii Hunter on a Wrigley team right now, and he's doing fairly well.

Juan Pierre stole 100 bases for me on a last place team, Johnny Damon played well on a championship team, and Brad Wilkerson is good for the price. Wilkerson has a strong arm, gets on base, and can steal you a few bases while cranking a few out of the yard over the course of a full season. Fun to watch in Coors.

I haven't used Rowand, but I've seen him over perform his card a few times. Kotsay has been solid for me, but he's so popular that I tend to look elsewhere.

Overall favorite - Edmonds.
Budget favorite - Wilkerson.

Kotsay or Wilkerson. I have had Edmonds and he did great but got injured down the stretch. Ouch!
It seems whenever I have drafted and got Wilkerson, I start getting all kinds of trade offers for him. So he very popular with others. He had his best year for me at Busch with .241, 39hr, 84 rbi, and .354 obp at mostly leadoff. He also scored 96 runs.
I have been leaning more toward Kotsay of late and have tried Jones on a couple of teams as well.
